Show Graphics: Mitti Deep Dive

AVE Standard | 1 Day | In-Person

Overview

Mitti is a Mac-based video playback application built for professional show environments where reliability and organization take precedence over complexity. Used across corporate events, general sessions, and hybrid productions, Mitti gives operators a clean, dependable playback workflow that holds up under show-day pressure. This course covers the full Mitti operator workflow: system setup, media preparation, playlist and cue building, output management, audio routing, and Stream Deck integration for show control. The focus is on building the habits that make playback seamless, recoverable, and consistently professional.

This Class Is Right For You If...

You're a content operator or playback tech looking to add Mitti to your professional toolkit.

You work in corporate playback roles and want a software solution that prioritizes reliability over complexity.

You're a show graphics operator who runs multiple playback tools and wants structured training on Mitti's specific workflow.

You're an AV technician who has been handed a Mitti rig on-site without formal training, and you want to change that.

Career Level

Mid-Level to Operator: Designed for technicians with basic AV and playback knowledge who are working in or moving into show graphics and content operator roles.

What You'll Learn

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Set up Mitti and configure system preferences for a professional show environment.

  • Prepare and organize media files to meet Mitti's format and performance requirements.

  • Build playlists and cue structures for reliable, organized show playback.

  • Manage multiple outputs and configure display routing for corporate show environments.

  • Route and manage audio within Mitti's playback environment

  • Integrate Mitti with Stream Deck for efficient, show-ready control workflows.

  • Troubleshoot common playback issues during live production

A Day in Class

Each participant works on a Mac with Mitti installed, building a show file from scratch through a structured series of exercises modeled on real corporate production scenarios. Class moves between instructor-led walkthroughs and hands-on project work, with a particular emphasis on the organizational habits that make Mitti reliable under pressure. Instructors review each participant's show file and provide direct feedback on cue structure, media management, and workflow decisions.

What You Leave With

Participants receive an AVE Show Graphics: Mitti certificate of completion along with a show-ready Mitti template, a media prep checklist, and a reference guide for Stream Deck integration. Participants leave with a working show file they built themselves and the habits to build the next one cleanly.

Reducing Risk

Playback failures in front of a corporate audience are high-visibility, high-consequence events. Disorganized playlists, incorrect output configurations, unsupported media formats, and missing cues all point to gaps in preparation and workflow discipline. A trained Mitti operator builds files correctly the first time, checks their work systematically before show time, and knows how to recover quickly when something does not go as expected.
