The AVE Scholarship Fund exists to help individuals who are passionate about entering or growing in the AV industry but need financial support to access our hands-on training classes. It's part of our mission to Equip, Enable, and Empower.

Who is eligible to apply?
Anyone with a genuine interest in the AV industry who is facing financial hardship may apply. You do not need to be a current AVE student to be eligible.

What does the scholarship cover?
Scholarships typically cover the cost of class registration only. Travel, accommodations, and meals are not included unless otherwise stated.

Can I apply more than once?
Scholarship awards are limited to one per person per calendar year. We want to make this opportunity available to as many people as possible. If you've already received a scholarship this year, we encourage you to check back next year or explore other financial options.

What do I need to include in my application?
The application will ask for:

• Basic personal and contact information

• What class you’re interested in attending

• Why you're seeking financial assistance

• Your experience or interest in the AV industry

How are recipients selected?
Recipients are selected based on a combination of financial need, passion for the AV field, and alignment with AVE’s mission. Applications are reviewed by our internal team and awarded on a rolling basis.

How will I know if I’m selected?
You’ll receive an email notification with next steps if you’re selected. If you’re not selected, you’re still welcome to reapply the following year.

How often are scholarships awarded?
Scholarships are reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis, depending on available funding and upcoming training dates.

Students with financial need may apply for scholarship assistance to attend our classes HERE! Any support provided by the AVE Scholarship Fund may be awarded upon review of the scholarship application, contingent also upon funding availability.

At this time, AV Educate does not stream or record our in-person classes. We know this is a popular request and we’re actively exploring innovative ways to bring our training to those who can’t attend in person.

In the meantime, we invite you to explore our YouTube channel, where you’ll find 250+ hours of free training content designed to support AV professionals at every level.

Starting in 2025, we’re rolling out a brand-new series of Training Guides—step-by-step resources built to pair with both our classes and online videos. Our library of guides will continue to grow throughout 2026, giving you even more tools to learn, practice, and succeed, no matter where you are.

AV Educate’s certificates are not licenses or official certifications unless otherwise stated or backed by manufactures. The AV Educate certificates recognize professional competence, assessed by peers in an independent organization, and are earned through attendance, participation, and completion of our immersive, hands-on trainings. They are intended for individual use only and do not imply hiring or promotion by any organization or firm.

Refund Policy

Digital Downloads

Because digital products are delivered instantly, all sales are final. By completing your purchase, you agree and understand that refunds and cancellations are not available for digital downloads.

Classes / Events / Workshops

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, the following options are available to you:

• A full class credit for the amount paid, which can be used toward a future AV Educate class, event, or workshop

• A refund of your purchase price, minus a $25 processing fee

• An exchange for something of equal value, with no fee

• Pay it forward to another student, with no fee

The $25 processing fee covers non-refundable payment processing costs and applies only to cash refunds. If you choose class credit, an exchange, or the pay-it-forward option, no processing fee will be charged.

Class credit allows you to keep the full value of your purchase and apply it toward a future AV Educate training opportunity.

If AV Educate cancels a class, event, or workshop, you will receive a full refund with no processing fee.

Please note: requests made on the day of class, or after the class period has started, are not eligible for a refund, exchange, or class credit.

How to Request a Refund, Credit, or Exchange

Email info@aveducate.com with your order number and our team will help you process your request. Please allow 5–10 business days for refunds to appear on your original method of payment.

Gift card limitations

• Gift cards are sold as unique digital codes. Squarespace doesn’t create or ship physical gift cards.

• At checkout, a gift card’s value is subtracted from the order total. This includes taxes and shipping.

• Gift cards never expire.

• When purchasing a gift card, customers go directly to checkout after clicking Purchase.

• Gift cards are only available through your store as an email.

Do gift cards cover taxes and shipping?

Yes.

Can I use less than the full value of my gift card?

When using a gift card, the full value of the gift card is always applied. It's not possible to partially redeem a gift card unless the order total is less than the gift card balance.

Do sale pricing and discounts apply to purchasing gift cards?

No. Sales pricing and discount codes can’t be applied to purchasing a gift card. However, these discounts apply to orders made using a gift card.

Can I refund a gift card?

Yes. You can cancel and refund unused gift cards. Partially used gift cards can't be refunded.
