Chris “BODDIE” BROWN

Boddie Brown is an AV systems professional specializing in media servers, show control, and networking for live events, installations, and broadcast environments. With years of hands-on experience supporting complex productions, Boddie focuses on the practical application of media server workflows and the network infrastructure that supports them.
As an instructor with AV Educate, Boddie teaches real world skills that technicians can apply immediately in the field. His training covers media server setup, configuration, and troubleshooting, along with networking fundamentals for AV systems including signal flow, VLANs, IP addressing, and system reliability. The emphasis is always on understanding how systems actually behave under pressure, not just how they work on paper.
Boddie is known for a clear, approachable teaching style that bridges the gap between creative playback and technical networking.

Director of Program Management
Alyssa serves as Director of Program Management at AV Educate, where she oversees a diverse portfolio of internal strategic initiatives. She leads cross-functional project planning and implements systems that enhance operational efficiency. Her work includes developing and refining SOPs, organizing backlogged projects, and ensuring alignment across teams to keep programs moving forward with clarity and consistency.
In addition to program oversight, Alyssa manages volunteer engagement, aligning individual strengths with organizational goals to support high-impact outcomes. Her ability to turn strategic vision into executable plans directly supports AV Educate’s mission to Equip, Enable, and Empower the AV industry beyond the classroom.

Her dedication and reliability allow AV Educate to continue fulfilling its mission to Equip, Enable, and Empower AV professionals across the industry. She is responsible for getting all those emails in your inbox with the most up to date information and chit chatting to schedule your next class! She manages operations that keep training programs on track, coordinates logistics, class materials, and makes sure students receive timely communications and support. She's also a writer and lives on a farm with her goat named Mel Mel ask her for goat pics anytime!

As the Learning and Development Manager at AV Educate, Nahaira Morales builds training programs that help freelancers and corporate AV professionals strengthen their real-world skills. She focuses on program development, instructional design, and supporting trainers as they translate their industry experience into practical, hands-on learning. Her work is reflected in the Quick Guide Series, a set of bite sized learning tools that help students easily review key concepts from core courses and reinforce what they learn in class. Nahaira’s background as a Theatrical Stage Manager gives her a natural understanding of live event flow, communication, and problem solving, which supports AV Educate’s mission to prepare people for the demands of live and corporate production.

As AV Educate’s Content Strategist, Mat is responsible for shaping how technical education is delivered and packaged across all social media platforms. Between marketing ideas for social media, editing the Quick Guide Youtube video series, or collaborating with our team of instructors, Mat ensures AV Educate’s mission - to equip, enable and empower- remains accessible and raises the industry baseline. Mat is making sure the end result is consistent, memorable, and fun, one digital asset at a time!
