A Day in Class

Class time combines instructor-led discussion with scenario-based exercises drawn directly from show-site situations: the crew member who's not pulling their weight, the schedule that just fell apart, the client who wants to change everything two hours before doors. Participants work through these scenarios, discuss their responses, and receive instructor feedback grounded in field experience. Materials are provided in class and designed to be kept as reference tools after the day is done.

What You Leave With

Participants receive an AVE Crew Lead Training certificate of completion. More practically, they leave with a personal leadership reference guide, a pre-show crew briefing framework, and concrete strategies they can apply on their next call. This course is grounded in experience not found in textbooks, and its takeaways are designed to be immediately usable.

Reducing Risk

A crew with no clear leader is a liability on any show. Miscommunication, missed cues, unresolved tension, and schedule slippage all trace back to a lack of effective on-site leadership.
