We Need You: AV Educate Is Calling for Volunteers

At AV Educate, our mission is to Equip, Enable, and Empower the live events and corporate AV community through practical, real-world training.

Help us build the resources that build the industry, and earn credit toward in-person class training while you do it.

AV Educate runs on more than instructors and classrooms. Every class, every blog post, and every resource we put out is a group effort, and we want to keep growing that library for the community. So we're opening up volunteer spots across AV Educate projects. This isn't tied to a single event or weekend. It's ongoing, and it's a chance to put your time into something the whole AV community gets to use.

What You'll Be Working On

The work shifts depending on what we're building at the moment, but right now we could use help with:

- Basic video editing, cleaning up drafts, checking formatting, tightening copy before it goes live

- Writing for our blog, contributing articles, recaps, and Edublogs alongside our team

- Future projects, helping build out the guides, resources, and tools still in the works

If you've got a good eye for detail, enjoy writing, or just want to be part of something being built in real time, there's a spot for you.

Why Volunteer?

We don't want to just take your time and give nothing back. Volunteer hours on AVE projects count as credit toward in-person class training. So the hours you put in helping us build don't just support the mission, they get you closer to hands-on training in the field. You help us equip the community with better resources, and we help equip you.
