CLASS OVERVIEW

This one-day, hands-on training is built for AV professionals who want real, show-ready fundamentals in PTZ camera operation for corporate and live events. You’ll trade the tripod for a joystick and learn how to frame, move, and manage PTZ cameras with purpose—so your shots feel smooth, intentional, and consistent. AV Educate partners with Instructor Jason Liermann and Digerati Productions to EQUIP beginner-to-intermediate students with practical PTZ skills you can use immediately on gigs.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

• PTZ Fundamentals: Pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and exposure basics

• Framing & Composition: Building clean shots that match the show’s style

• Movement Control: Speed ramps, smooth starts/stops, and natural camera motion

• Presets & Recall: Creating, labeling, and using presets like a pro

• PTZ Workflows for Live Events: Operator habits, timing, and communication on shows.
