AV Educate "Barco Training Non-Certified”

Our Barco Bundle includes two separate 2-day classes: Students will work through both generations of Barco processing, learning the differences in setup, routing, scaling, system configuration, control workflows, firmware management, and troubleshooting. Day 01 we start with the signal. Every student will go through AV Educate’s intensive 4-hour Video Signal Flow training, building a stronger understanding of resolutions, connectors, routing, scaling, signal paths, and how a complete video system works together.Because knowing Event Master is one thing.Understanding why the system works is what helps you troubleshoot it when the show doesn’t.

"Barco Training Non-Certified" (E2)

This 2-day class provides a practical overview of the E2 Event Master software and workflow. Students will learn the layout of the software, where key functions are located, and how to work through basic setup, routing, scaling, and show-building tasks. Mock drills are used throughout the class to help students get comfortable navigating the system and applying what they learn.

"Barco Training Non-Certified" (E3)

This 2-day class provides a practical overview of the E3 software and workflow, with hands-on instruction focused on navigation, setup, routing, scaling, and the major tools technicians will use on show site. Students will also work through mock-show drills to become more familiar with the program and build confidence using the system.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

• Navigate the Barco E2 or E3 software and understand where key tools, controls, and functions are located.

• Work through basic system setup, routing, scaling, destinations, and common show-building workflows.

• Apply what they learn through hands-on mock-show drills designed to build familiarity and repetition with the platform.

• Better understand how video moves through a system—not just how to operate the software controlling it.

• Troubleshoot common workflow, routing, and signal-flow issues by working through problems instead of simply memorizing steps.

Students will also receive access to AV Educate training tools designed to keep the learning going after class:

• AV Look Book: Build mock shows, plan destinations, presets, I/O, routing, and signal flow, then recreate those same shows inside the Barco simulator.

• Signal Flow: AVE’s 200-level at-home training game designed to give students more reps handling video routing and signal-flow decisions while introducing new concepts level by level.
