This in-person training is built for those stepping into show calling—or ready to take their cue calling skills to the next level. Whether you’re working breakouts, general sessions, or high-pressure main events, this class will give you the structure, language, and confidence to run the comms like a pro.

Led by show caller Alyssa Freire, this session dives into real-world workflows, headset etiquette, cue sequencing, and team leadership—with guided practice and pressure-tested simulations throughout.

From the first standby to the final fade-to-black, you’ll learn what it really takes to lead a show from the hot seat.

What You’ll Learn:

1. Headset Communication & Cue Language
   The art of clear, professional show calling with standardized language, call timing, and headset discipline that keeps the team aligned.

2. Building & Managing a Show Caller Script
   Learn how to organize, mark, and run show caller decks—from pre-show prep to calling live cues with confidence and flexibility.

3. Calling Under Pressure
   Practice calling cues in real-time simulations that mirror the stress, distractions, and decision-making of a real show environment.

4. Command Presence & Leadership on Comms
   Develop the confidence, tone, and mindset to lead from the chair—earning trust from your crew, clients, and show directors.
